Looking for a really fun and inexpensive date? Here is a great one that she is sure to absolutely love. Pretend that the electricity is out in your home or apartment. Nothing electric works…and that truly means nothing. No TV, no lights, no stereo, no phones (including cell phones), no nothing. Get a cooler and fill it with your favorite beverages, and cold snacks like cheese, fruit, chocolate. It’s almost like having a picnic at home in the dark. Make sure you have plenty of candles ready! (Extremely romantic! Spring for the scented ones too!) Play cards, checkers, read to each other by candle light, or just sit and talk. Once it is totally dark outside, venture out for a stroll around the neighborhood or nearest park. No driving allowed. Once it’s time for bed, light all the little candles that you have strategically placed around the room and snuggle up with your gal. Oh, don’t forget to tell her how beautiful she is in candle light!
